Plants that create a Butterfly Buffet

The butterfly buffet


To attract butterflies, variety is key.  Select a mix of colorful, nectar-rich plants, as well as caterpillar host plants, that will please both you and the butterflies.


1. Salvia

         Annual, Part sun to full sun
2. Butterfly Weed (Host and Nectar)
         Asclepias tuberosa
         Perennial, Zones 3 to 9  Full Sun
